CBDV is a Varin Cannabinoid and normally presents at very low levels in the hemp plant. We have a specific chemovar that expresses 50:50 CBDA:CBDVA. The Varin cannabinoids have two fewer carbons than their non-varin counterparts (CBD & THC) making them fundamentally different on a molecular level and therefore have different physiological effects due to different binding capabilities in the endocannabinoid system.
There is strong evidence that CBDV has significant anticonvulsant properties, which may rival CBD’s therapeutic potential.
Rich with the following terpenes: beta-Caryophyllene and alpha-humulene.
